They may be young, but the Jonas Brothers understand the power of second chances.

Two years ago, the musical siblings — Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15 — were dropped from Columbia Records after their debut album sold a disappointing 65,000 copies.

But last year, Disney's Hollywood Records scooped up the pop-rock trio and turned them into an entertainment force of nature with the power to sweep preteen girls into a squealing frenzy.

"It was an amazing opportunity,” Kevin Jonas recently told The Oklahoman in a teleconference. "We got very lucky, and we were really honored with how amazing our family is now at Hollywood Records. ... They believed in us, and they let us make the record we definitely wanted to make. And they let us be the Jonas Brothers.”

The Jonas Brothers will launch their headlining tour, titled "The Burning Up Tour,” July 4 in Toronto. It includes a July 8 stop at the Ford Center, 100 W Reno.

Along with the hits from their platinum-selling 2007 self-titled album, the band plans to play songs from its upcoming CD, "A Little Bit Longer,” on the summer tour.

Jonas Brothers are the "boys of summer" with multiple chart topping successes and four of the top ten songs on iTunes. The soundtrack for "Camp Rock" debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200, selling 188,000 units since its June 17 release on Walt Disney Records and ranking #1 on Billboard's Soundtrack and Children's charts. Their "Burnin' Up" single from their upcoming album, "A Little Bit Longer," shipped to Top 40 radio this weekend, and is officially the #1 most added song of the week while also setting a new record for most requests in 24 hours for the Radio Disney request phone lines. On iTunes, Jonas Brothers have the #1 video ("Burnin' Up"), #1 podcast for their forthcoming CD, as well as the #1 song ("Burnin' Up"), and #2 album ("Camp Rock"). On YouTube, "Burnin' Up" is the #1 video of the week. The album debuts August 12 on Hollywood Records.

The Jonas Brothers were mobbed by fans as they stepped out of their hotel in Toronto on Monday, June 30.

The sibling rockers are set to kick off the Burning Up Tour at Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, Ontario, on July 4th 2008. The North American tour is aimed at promoting their third studio album, A Little Bit Longer, which is set to be released in the United States on August 12, 2008.

A Disney Digital 3D production crew will film the shows in Anaheim, CA on July 13 and 14, for a movie that will be released in theaters early next year.

The Disney Channel movie, Camp Rock, featuring the Jonas Brothers, which aired on The Disney Channel June 20, averaged 8.9 million viewers, doing better than High School Musical which debuted to 7.8 million viewers, but falling short of High School Musical 2 which was watched by 17.2 million viewers.

A sequel to Camp Rock will go into production in late spring or summer 2009, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The brothers are also scheduled to star in a new Disney Channel's series called J.O.N.A.S! (Junior Operatives Networking as Spies). The show will feature them as band members who dovetail as spies, and will include their youngest sibling, seven-year-old Frankie.
